Hector Martinez & Ian Morton started with a vision of providing support that they never had as youth...

We are excited to announce the 2017 Y.E.S. Conference, which will take place on April 8, 2017 at San Diego State University! FREE registration for youth (13-24), parents and professionals may be found here!

The start of Y.E.s. San Diego

Y.E.S. San Diego was created and made possible by two organizations that are committed to serving the San Diego community: The UC San Diego AIDS Research Institute and Mental Health America of San Diego. Each respective agency's director saw the disproportionate impact of HIV infection and undiagnosed/untreated mental health challenges on young LGBTQ people. By providing the seed money to launch this initiative, acting as fiscal agents and providing infrastructure, they have allowed Y.E.S. to flourish and grow, for which we are very thankful!

San Diego Human

Dignity Foundation

In 2014, SDHDF generously funded the first paid Y.E.S. staff position to hire and outreach liaison and became the fiscal agent of Y.E.S. San Diego.

San Diego LGBT Pride

San Diego LGBT Pride sponsors the Y.E.S. Program & Resource guide, a publication that links LGBTQ youth and young adults to resources and services.
